I know I might be a few days late with this one, so in fact it is more of a 'current favourites' kind of post, but whatever it is it's still about all of the products that I'm absolutely loving regardless.
Over January I've purchased a few more things than I usually would, what with starting this blog, January sales and of course my student loan. This has given me the chance to experiment more and branch out of my usual routine of purchasing the same products, and quite a few of them are quickly becoming my faves.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
After months and months of my sister telling me off for using facial wipes to take off my makeup, I saw this on offer in boots and thought I'd give it a go. If I'm honest, I don't think I'll ever revert to wipes again! It's such a gentle formula, which is probably expected from a water based product, but it also literally makes your makeup disappear. You really don't need to use that much either. This is probably my favourite new favourite out of the bunch. (It's actually on offer at boots at the moment, find it here).
Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo
For my hair, I tend to flit between two particular things: Batiste Dry Shampoo, because it's a classic and I know for a fact it works, and also Baby Powder - this sounds crazy, but essentially its the same stuff and when you're in need...you deal. Whilst going on my regular bargain hunt, I picked up the new Herbal Essences Uplifting Volume dry shampoo (better than half price at Superdrug right now). It adds amazing volume to your roots and the fragrance is true to the Herbal Essences brand, with an amazing citrus smell that is just like a shampoo.
However, I probably wouldn't use it if my hair was purely grease and in need of matting up, just because it's quite heavy and if you put too much on your hair feels very squeaky (this is the only way I can describe it!) and it tends to clog up.
Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio
This pack is everything that I need right now. I've been trying to find the perfect brush to use for bronzer and my attempted contouring for a while, and these are just great. They include a mini foundation brush, mini face brush, and a mini shading brush, all in a cute little pouch to keep them safe in your bag. The foundation brush is perfect for applying your concealer and the face brush is a mini version of the one I use for my normal foundation, which is fab for blending and it means I can use the mini one for blending in my bronzer!
MUA Romantic Efflorescence Eyeshadow Palette
If you've kept up with any of my previous posts, you'll note that this is one that I've purchased recently and been playing around with a lot. The matte shades are what have particularly won me over, and I just think it's great for making your eyes look that bit more beautiful with any look.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Vintage Pink
This lipstick isn't just a current favourite, it's always been a bit of a favourite. A kind of dusky mauve pink that looks so nice on, and the fact that it's moisture renew means that it feels amazing on your lips, has a nice sheen, and also doesn't dry you out!

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob
As you can see from the swatches below, this is a great match for the vintage pink lipstick, which makes sense as they're both similar colours from the same brand. Not only is it a fab shade that goes great with so many other lipsticks, but it's also amaaazing on its own too when applied to the whole lips - think MAC and Kylie Jenner. It forms a beautiful matte lip that stays in place for hours unlike many matte lipsticks that you can find, and also doesn't dry you out in the slightest.
Barry M Gelly Nail Effects in Almond
Nails are something that I got into before I even really decided that I loved makeup and cosmetics, and Barry M has always been a fave. Being pale, I find it so difficult to find nudes that are suitable for my complexion, and nude nails are no different. This shade is one such nude that doesn't look too pale or too dark, and is just one of those all round 'neat' colours that makes your hands look clean and your nails well kept.
I'm sure I'll be changing my mind and finding some new amazing things over the coming month, but for now these are those products that I am absolutely loving and just can't live without!

I love the Garner Micellar Water, it leaves my skin feels so clean after using it. I normally use a make up wipe to begin with and then use the micellar water as a deep cleanse.

It's so good isn't it! I thought it might be a bit too much with face wipes, but as it's so gentle I might give it a go, particularly as my mascara can be so stubborn. Thanks for the tip!

I want to try practically everything on this list. I'm definitely going to buy the Micellar water when I'm next in boots as I love an offer! And that MUA palette.... so lovely but so cheap! I swear everyone's talking about that nail polish at the moment, so I really think I'm going to have to check it out. I've nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award (http://polka-dot-penny.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/versatile-blogger-awardinfinity-dreams.html) :) Penny xxx

The Garnier Miceller water is amazing, I ise it as well! I've also used the Herbal Essences dry shampoo as well and really liked it but it is really heavy on the hair!
